BASE CHECK
Company data
you can prove.
Base Check verifies and completes stale B2B databases against official European sources. Each field shows where it came from, when it was checked and how confident we are.

A value without a source is a guess. Each one in your export carries this card: where it came from, when it was checked and how much we trust it.

Sent to a human, not into your CRM. Whichever way it is resolved, the decision is kept.

Recorded as unavailable · not invalid
A source that fails is not a fact about your customer. It is retried on its own schedule.
Data ages at different speeds.
A VAT number barely moves; a website can disappear in a week. Base Check keeps a re-check date per field, so a maintained base costs less than a yearly clean-up.

Evidence per field
Every value carries its source, check time and an explainable confidence.
Honest outcomes
Unavailable is never invalid. Conflicts go to review, not into your CRM.
Kept fresh
Field-specific re-check dates turn a one-off clean into a living base.
Private by design
Purpose, lawful basis and retention recorded per dataset. Client data is never pooled.
Questions people actually ask.
Where does Base Check get its data?+
From official European sources first: EU VIES for VAT validation, GLEIF for LEI identity and EU TED for published public-procurement awards. Website reachability and mail-domain configuration are supplementary checks. Domestic registry checks through InfoCamere and Agenzia delle Entrate are planned once official access is granted.
What happens if a source is down?+
The field is recorded as unavailable and retried later. A service failure is never written as an invalid value, so a timeout cannot silently delete good data from your base.
Does Base Check guess missing values?+
No. Nothing reaches your export without evidence behind it. Where two sources disagree, the record is sent to human review instead of being averaged into a guess.
Is my data shared with other customers?+
No. Every dataset is private to the account that uploaded it. Only anonymised, lawful aggregates could ever feed sector benchmarks, and not before there is enough of that data to say something meaningful.
How often should a base be re-checked?+
By field, not by file. VAT numbers every 90 days, websites and emails every 60, phone numbers every 120, company names and addresses every 180. Base Check stores the next due date per field so you only re-check what has actually aged.
What can I import and what do I get back?+
A CSV or Excel file. Column names are matched automatically, you get an instant diagnosis of duplicates, gaps and invalid formats, then the cleaned file plus a separate evidence report showing the source and check time of every field.

Upload a CSV or Excel file and get a diagnosis in seconds: duplicates, gaps and the fields that no longer hold up.
