CHECKsika

Sources

Every value has a source.

CHECKsika checks official registers first, then the public web. Every proposed value carries its source, the exact quote and the date it was checked, so you can see why it is there.

01

EU VAT register (VIES)

Confirms whether a European VAT number is active and returns the registered name and address.

02

Global LEI register (GLEIF)

Legal entity identifiers, legal names and parent relationships for registered companies worldwide.

03

Swiss business register (UID)

Swiss company identifiers, matched only when legal name and locality agree.

04

EU public procurement (TED)

Public tender awards, a useful signal of a company's activity and sector.

05

Company websites

Legal notices, about and contact pages, read to find VAT numbers, sector, phone and brand.

06

Google results

Search results, including those that point to LinkedIn, to find company pages and leaders. LinkedIn itself is never opened.

Questions people ask

Do you scrape LinkedIn?
No. CHECKsika only reads the titles and snippets that Google shows. The LinkedIn link is stored as the citation.
What if a source is down?
The field is marked unavailable, not missing. A service failure is never treated as a negative result.
Are proposals final?
No. Web findings are proposals with a cited source. Your team decides what goes into the final file.
